Foodshed (n.) - the region in which our food is produced and consumed – from the land it grows on, the routes it travels, the markets it’s sold through, to the tables it graces and the mouths it feeds. Our foodshed includes our farmland, our farmers, our food, and ourselves.

Freight Shed (n.) - the outlet farmers once used to store and ship crops and heavy cargo by rail. Simply but solidly built, centrally located, and wide open in floor plan, today we have the chance to adapt them for creative and respectful re-use, and revive them as centers of community activity.
